The British Menopause Society has written to the MHRA under the Freedom of Information Act, to obtain answers to specific questions about their recent recommendations to GPs around the prescribing of HRT.

British Menopause Society responds with serious concerns about MHRA recommendations to GPs

This article contains the letter from the Chairman of the British Menopause Society to the CEO of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in which he raises serious concerns about their issuing of a drug safety alert to GPs suggesting that HRT should be used at the lowest dose for the shortest amount of time.
