Published: 17th January 2020
Dr Rebecca Lewis, GP with special interest in menopause here at Newson Health and Lucy Holtom, our resident yoga instructor will both be providing their services at the Secret Warriors two day retreat - 'Survive and Thrive through Menopause' - on 17th and 18th March 2020.
Secret Warriors is a West Midlands business, founded by banking duo Lisa Webb and Ange Terry, specialising in retreats for professional women. This is their first dedicated menopause event.
The peri-menopause and menopause can be a tricky time for many women – anxiety, low mood, hot flushes, brain fog – can all feel overwhelming. But, with the right lifestyle changes, it is possible to have a positive experience.
Secret Warriors have joined forces with incredible experts in the menopause field to create a two day escape taking place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th March 2020 in a beautiful location in the Cotswolds including:
- Talks from leading GPs and specialists in the menopause
- Talks on nutrition, cooking demonstrations and professionally prepared, tailored meals
- Overnight accommodation in double or shared rooms, each with own en-suite
- Other relaxation aides including well-woman yoga and hot-tub
