Care Quality Commission inspection results announced
Published: 2nd December 2019
In September 2019, the CQC (Care Quality Commission) visited us here at Newson Health to inspect our facilities and services. We are delighted to announce the results!
The CQC is an independent regulator of all health services in England. Their role is to ensure that care provided by clinics, such as Newson Health, meets government standards of quality and safety. As the CQC is an independent body, patients can be assured that they will produce an unbiased report. This report looks at 5 main areas, these are:
- Is the clinic safe?
- Is the clinic effective?
- Are we caring?
- Are we responsive?
- Is the service well led?
We are delighted to announce that after out inspection, the CQC found Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Centre to be 'Good' in all the above categories. You can read the full report here.
By registering with the CQC we can show our patients that we are being open and transparent and it will give you confidence that, when you visit Newson Health, you are visiting a safe and caring clinic. We always strive to offer our patients the best possible care to help them manage menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms. We worked hard to ensure that, when the CQC team visited us, we demonstrated that we put our patients’ needs first and that our goal is to make our clinic a welcoming, safe place for all women.
We are thrilled to be able to share this report with you and we hope that it gives you a little insight into how we work here at Newson Health.
