Dr Newson presents at European Menopause and Andrology Society in Berlin

Dr Louise Newson is heading out to Berlin today armed with the most up to date data on menopause care for women to present to the European Menopause and Andrology Society (EMAS).
Dr Newson will be presenting responses gathered from 2920 women, the majority being in the 45-60 age group, that provides essential insight into the standard of care and type of treatment being offered to women in the UK.
EMAS is the key international society promoting health in women and men at midlife and beyond and as has an active worldwide membership, with over 40 affiliated societies and this event, the 12th Euorpean Congress, will take place on 15-17 May in Berlin, Germany.
Dr Newson, a GP and menopause specialist, is a medical writer and an editor for the British Journal of Family Medicine. She is a much sought after speaker and highly respected for her in-depth professional knowledge of women's health and the menopause. Dr Newson provides a free menopause resource for women and healthcare professionals at www.menopausedoctor.co.uk, making available all the latest evidence-based knowledge on the subject.
Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Centre was founded by leading menopause specialist and GP, Dr Louise Newson, and officially opened in September 2018 by Liz Earle MBE. Created to help women receive the most appropriate, individualised treatment for their perimenopause and menopause, it has quickly become a centre of excellence, providing care to women of all ages, as well as running educational events for primary care clinicians.
Dr Newson is also the founder of the My Menopause Doctor website, a free resource since 2017, providing the latest unbiased, evidence based information about the menopause and perimenopause for women as well as the most recent national and international menopause articles and guidelines for healthcare professionals.
